MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING

CITY COUNCIL

MENNO, SOUTH DAKOTA

June 18, 2007

The purpose of this meeting was to canvass the votes from the June 12, 2007 Municipal election.

Present at this meeting were: Mayor Larry Tolzin, Councilmen Dennis Aisenbrey, Galen Guthmiller, Gary Herman, John Huber, Jerome Kotalik, Darrell Mehlhaf, and Finance Officer Peggy Thranum. Aaron Matthaei was also present.

The special meeting scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. was called to order by Mayor Tolzin at 8:00 p.m. All concerned parties and the newspaper had been contacted by phone in advance of the time change.

After reviewing the results of the election, Huber made a motion to accept the following results. Guthmiller seconded; all present in favor.

Alderman, Ward I, 1-year term: Aaron Matthaei 37 Votes

Dennis Aisenbrey 45 Votes

82 Ballots Voted

Herman moved to adjourn at 8:05 p.m. Kotalik seconded, all present in favor.
