MINUTES OF CITY COUNCIL

MENNO, SOUTH DAKOTA

March 17, 2008

The purpose of this meeting was to review and correct the assessments of the taxing district for the year 2008.

Present at this meeting were: Mayor Larry Tolzin, Councilmen Dennis Aisenbrey, Galen Guthmiller, John Huber, Jerome Kotalik, Darrell Mehlhaf, School District Representative David Bender and Finance Officer Peggy Thranum. Gary Herman was absent. Erik Kaufman, Jai Walter, Mike Walter, Terry Goehring, Daniel Mehlhaf and Shannon Herrboldt were also present.

Mayor Tolzin called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM.

No one appeared before the board to appeal their property tax assessments. The council reviewed the assessments and found none they thought needed to be changed.

Huber moved to adjourn at 6:40 p.m. Aisenbrey seconded, all present in favor, motion carried.
