MINUTES OF CITY COUNCIL

MENNO, SOUTH DAKOTA

March 22, 2011

The purpose of this meeting was to review and correct the assessments of the taxing district for the year 2011.

Answering Roll Call: Mayor Darrell Mehlhaf, Councilmen Ronald Diede, Jerry Fischer, Galen Guthmiller, Jerome Hoff, and Scott Simonsen. Jerome Kotalik was absent. School District Representative Kevin Edelman and Finance Officer Peggy Thranum were also present.

Mayor Mehlhaf called the meeting to order at 6:00 PM.

Hoff moved to approve the agenda. Fischer seconded; all ayes.

No one appeared before the board to appeal their property tax assessments.

The board reviewed the assessments and made a list of properties for the equalization director to check.

Simonsen moved to adjourn at 6:16 p.m. Diede seconded; all ayes.
