Weiss moved to approve the finance report as presented, Herrboldt seconded; motion carried.

SEFP REPORT: Larsen reported she is working with 3 clients in Menno. They will be doing a 2nd Dollar of Profit soon for the new hardware addition to Menno Lumber. The area Career Fair is scheduled for February 9. An Energizing Entrepreneurs Workshop is scheduled for January 24.

Housing – We are hosting an interactive housing workshop on November 29 and 30 to discuss the future housing needs in our community. We will work with a team of housing experts who will help guide and draw our visions. The community is invited and encouraged to join us. Watch for the articles in the paper. Posters will be hung around town.

Business – The high bid for the furnace out of the house at 112 S High Street was $200.  Everything that is worth anything is out of the house. Craig Maloney had the low bid to clean up the lot.

Bruce Anderson presented various ideas for a sign to be placed on the fence of our Fifth Street property by the seventh grade class. The sign will honor our veterans. The one chosen will say “Thank You to Our Past, Present and Future Veterans.”

Teresa Anderson stated if we hauled in some black dirt, someone may lease the lot for a garden.

Mike Neuharth sprayed the lot at no charge; a thank you will be sent.

Our next meeting will be December 21 at 12 noon at the Open Door Café.

Schelske moved for adjournment at 12:50 p.m. Herrboldt seconded; motion carried.

Respectfully submitted by Peggy Thranum, Secretary
