Business History:
    Carl Hertz started the business in 1957 with a D7 Cat. IN 1972 Carl's son Todd began working part time later to become full time in '76. Then in '76 Carl Hertz Construction purchased a TS 14-13 UOT Scraper to polish off their construction outfit. Carl Hertz construction now consists of Todd Hertz running the D7 cat and TS 14-13 UOT Scraper solo.

Services:
    Carl Hertz construction does numerous earth moving such as; dam construction, ditch digging, building site preparations, terrace removal,  and burying old farmsteads and trees. Todd also does alot of surveying work and makes his top priority communicating with customers to the best of his ability to better full full their needs.

Span of Business:
    Carl Hertz services most of Hutchinson County, SW Turner, N Yankton County, and NE Bon Homme. With such towns ranging from Milltown to Mayfield and from Freeman to Tyndal.
