Camping Facilities
There are three camp pads available at the north end of the City Park, on the west side of Menno. There are electrical hook-ups (50, 30 and 20 Amp) and a new bath house facility that was completed in 2015. There are no reservations, sites are first come first serve at all times. There is a $10 per night fee for camping. Fees may be paid during business hours at the Finance Office at 236 S. 5th St. or by dropping payment along with your name and address in the drop box on the door to the Finance Office. Picnic tables and playground equipment are also available for use by anyone camping. You can also use paygov.us to make payment for your camping pads. Select State of South Dakota, City of Menno, and "general" under transaction type. From there, you just enter your credit card information. There is a 3% convenience fee to pay by credit card.
NOTICE: The water has been turned off at the bathhouse/dump station for the 2024/2025 winter season.
The electricity has also been turned off, but we can turn the electricity back on if needed for someone who wants to stay. Please contact the city finance office @ 605-387-2427.
Menno Lake Camping - not affiliated with the City of Menno

There are also 10 camping pads available at Menno Lake, located one mile west, one and a half miles north, and a half mile west of Menno. There are electric hookups, restroom, potable water, Heritage Memorial Park, beach, boat dock, and is handicap accessible. There is a $10 charge per site per night for camping, payable at the campground drop box. These spots are first come first serve basis. No reservations required.
NOTICE TO ALL: CAMPING AT MENNO LAKE IS RESTRICTED FROM NOVEMBER 1ST TO APRIL 1ST. ELECTRICAL SERVICES WILL BE TEMPORARILY DISCONTINUED DURING THIS TIME.
Dump Station
There is a dump station located just outside the football/track field complex at the south end of Park Street. Fresh water is also available at the dump station.
