Water, Sewer & Garbage Charges

Water charges: $20 base charge plus $6.25 for the first 1,000 gallons of water used. Any water used over 1,000 gallons will be an additional $6.25 per thousand gallons. Once it gets to 10,001 gallons, the cost is $7.25 per 1,000 gallons.

Sewer charges: Sewer charges are based on the amount of water used on an account. $18 base charge for the first 1,000 gallons of water used. Any water over 1,000 gallons is charge on the sewer at $3 per thousand gallons.

Residential garbage:  The garbage charge of $26.00 is included on your RESIDENTIAL water bill. One dollar ($1.00) is charged for the restricted use site located at the south end of Second Street.  Information on the restricted use site is found by clicking here.

Commercial garbage:  Commercial accounts contract directly with Myers Sanitation for their garbage service. Contact Myers at (605)491-0519 to begin commercial service.  Commercial accounts also pay the $1.00 restricted use site fee on their water bills.  For information on what you may take to the restricted use site, please click here.
